Techdirt has officially stopped using embedded tweets on its site because of “the erratic and unpredictable situation with Twitter right now.” They say it’s “too risky” to trust that the tweets will survive.

In fact, Twitter could go under. Musk could choose to pull the plug on tweet embedding.

Should Twitter stop enabling embedded tweets?
