Why Tesla wants to get into the restaurant racket

Tesla recently filed a trademark for its brand under the category of restaurant services. The company has been thinking about and planning a move into the food business for years.
Specifically, Tesla's trademark applications May 27 fall under restaurant services, pop-up restaurant services, self-service restaurant services and take-out restaurant services.
The reason, if you think about it, is obvious.

1. Photo apps that don't let you take selfies
A new photo-sharing app called Poparazzi aims to stop runaway Instagram narcissism by blocking you from taking selfies. The front-facing camera is disabled in the app.
The app is a social network where your profile is packed with photos of you — taken by other people. You can remove any photos you don't like, and choose to make your profile public or private. You get "pops" — points for views.
The concept makes no sense. People who want to take selfies can just open the regular camera app on their phone. People who don't want to take selfies can just not take them. This app seems to be for people who want to take selfies, but also want to… not be able to?

2. Drones that destroy other drones
This guy outfitted his drone with a mesh shield to knock other drones out of the sky. (I want one.)
3. A car that mines bitcoin
A Canadian "car" company called Daymak plans to sell a three-wheeled car called the Spiritus that will be the world's first (and probably last) car to actually mine cryptocurrency, including Dogecoin and Bitcoin, while the car is parked. The company will also accept payment in cryptocurrencies.
