Worst of it all is how many people can't see how fake these images are, but they probably still have velvet Elvis on their walls.

Dear Mike,

I am writing to you today as a long-time reader and admirer of your work. I have always appreciated your insightful commentary on AI and technology, as well as your willingness to tackle tough political issues.

However, I believe that you may be the victim of your own success. Your posts on AI and tech, as well as your hard left political bias, are feeding the algorithm. As a result, you are increasingly being shown content that confirms your existing beliefs. This can lead to a dangerous echo chamber effect, where you are only exposed to information that reinforces your own views.

I urge you to be more mindful of the algorithm and to make an effort to seek out content that challenges your existing beliefs. This will help you to stay informed and to make more well-rounded decisions.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Benjamin Roche

YES - That response was the result of an AI prompt but I approve this message ;-)

First, I’m on the Far Center, not a leftist. I hold both liberal and conservative values and political beliefs, both of which make me anti-Trump. Being anti-Trump may make me appear to be a leftist, but that’s just a Trumpist framing. For example, I believe in the rule of law, which makes me oppose Trump, a criminal. I believe in responsible government, which makes me oppose Trump. I believe in a strong military, and strong military alliances (especially with NATO), which makes me oppose Trump. I oppose dictators, which makes me oppose Trump. I believe in family values, which makes me anti-Trump.

My email, and subsequent post was mostly for fun, and to give the post the engagement those AI memes get by making shocking and eye catching images. If I understand you correctly you correctly, you are anti-Trump? Lol .. but seriously, the political discourse in America needs to be less about TRUMP and more about LIBERTY. Since you mention NATO, the only reason there is a war in Ukraine is because Kamala Harris intends to accept Ukraine into NATO. As soon as Trump wins, and declares that Ukraine is not welcome into NATO and the US agrees to keep NATO as it historically was a buffer east to west and not a threat on Russia's border, the war will end. It is unfortunate that the new democrat party has become the party of never ending war, and the supported by the military industrial complex. I never thought I would live to see the day the Cheney's were the darlings of the left in America.

There's war in Ukraine because Putin wants to re-build the Soviet Union, and miscalculated about the US's and Europe's stomach for opposing his expansionism. If Trump wins, he'll appease Putin the way Neville Chamberlain appeased the Nazis, with the same result. Poland is next, etc. The main point of NATO is to resist Soviet-now-Russian expansionism into Europe, and it's worked.

The name of the party is the "Democratic Party."

Letting Russia and China expand and conquer is not the way to avoid war, but the opposite. We avoid war by strangling it in its cradle.

2 years, 7 months and 1 day ... that is a VERY LONG STRANGULATION. Meanwhile this week Zelenskyy campaigns for Harris imparting foreign influence on our elections.

World War II lasted 6 years, ended 80 million lives, and cost (in today’s dollars, adjusted for inflation) $4 trillion. Small wars fought by others funded by us are far better than huge wars fought by us and funded by us a a massive cost.
